Inventory is the largest pile of cash most businesses can actually control, and it is usually managed by a spreadsheet and a memory. Operations AI watches the numbers hourly and tells you what to do while there is still time to do it.
Two columns, same business. The difference is whether the repetitive part is done by a person or by a system.
Without AI
Cash stuck in the wrong places
✕Best sellers run out on the busiest weekend of the quarter
✕Slow lines sit for a year and get marked down below cost
✕Reorder points were set once and never revisited
✕Supplier delays are discovered when the stock does not arrive
✕Nobody notices the fulfilment step that has been slipping for a month
With Hagamart AI
Cash working where it earns
✓Reorder triggers that move with real sell-through, per SKU and per location
✓Slow stock flagged early, while a small markdown still clears it
✓Purchase suggestions with a forecast and a confidence range attached
✓Supplier lead-time drift detected from the data before it hurts
✓Operational anomalies surfaced the day they start, not the month they compound
/ WHAT WE BUILD
Six ways we build it.
Stock
Smart reordering
Reorder points that recalculate continuously from demand, lead time and variability.
Per-SKU, per-location
Lead-time aware
Safety stock optimisation
Cash
Dead stock detection
Early warning on lines that are not moving, while a small discount still works.
Ageing analysis
Markdown recommendations
Bundle suggestions
Suppliers
Supplier intelligence
Which suppliers actually deliver on time, priced against what they cost you when they do not.
Lead-time tracking
Reliability scoring
Reorder timing by supplier
Fulfilment
Fulfilment monitoring
Every stage timed, so the step that is slipping is visible before customers notice.
Stage-level timing
Exception alerts
Carrier performance
Capacity
Capacity & rota planning
Staff and equipment matched to forecast demand instead of last month's rota.
Demand-based scheduling
Peak prediction
Overtime reduction
Waste
Waste & shrinkage analysis
Where product is disappearing, spoiling or being discounted away, quantified.
Spoilage forecasting
Shrinkage patterns
Discount leakage
/ HOW IT WORKS
How the build actually runs.
Step one
We count what you actually have
Almost every project starts by discovering that stock records and reality disagree. Reconciling that is unglamorous and it is where the first savings come from.
Step two
We rebuild the reorder logic
Fixed reorder points are the single most common cause of both stockouts and dead stock. We replace them with logic that responds to demand and lead time.
Step three
We put alerts where people look
Not a dashboard. A message in the channel your ops person already reads, with the recommendation and the reason attached.
Step four
We widen into the rest of ops
Fulfilment timing, supplier scoring, rota planning. Once the data pipeline exists, each additional area is a fraction of the first one's cost.
/ WHO IT IS FOR
Built for your industry, not in general.
The engine is the same; the build is yours. Here is where this service earns hardest.
No. Many of our builds start from a spreadsheet and a POS export. Getting the data into one consistent place is part of the work, and it is often the highest-value part.
Will this work across multiple locations?
Yes, and multi-location is where it pays best, because it can recommend transfers between sites instead of new purchase orders — which is free stock you already own.
How does it handle new products with no history?
By using comparable products, category patterns and early sell-through signal, with a wider confidence range that narrows as real data arrives. It says when it is uncertain rather than pretending otherwise.
Can it connect to Shopify, our POS and our accounting system?
Yes — Shopify, WooCommerce, Square, Lightspeed, Xero, QuickBooks and most others. Connecting the systems that already hold your numbers is usually step one.
What kind of savings are realistic?
It depends entirely on how much cash is currently tied up and how often you stock out, so we measure your baseline first rather than quoting someone else's percentage. If the numbers do not justify the build, we will say so.
Does someone still need to approve purchase orders?
Yes, by default. The system recommends, with its reasoning visible, and a person approves. You can automate approval for routine reorders once you trust it.
