Hagamart
Home / AI development in the United Kingdom

Built for UK rules, UK hours and UK invoices.

UK businesses have a specific set of constraints that generic AI vendors tend to discover halfway through a project: UK GDPR, ICO expectations, PECR rules on marketing messages, and a tool stack that looks nothing like the American one. We build for those from the start.

/ THE DIFFERENCE

Why the United Kingdom build is different.

Same engineering, different constraints. These are the ones that actually change the build.

Without AI

What generic vendors miss

  • A marketing automation build that quietly breaks PECR rules on consent
  • Customer data processed somewhere your DPO would not have approved
  • Integrations with US accounting software your finance team does not use
  • Pricing in dollars, invoiced in dollars, reconciled in a headache
  • No documented lawful basis for the processing the AI is doing
With Hagamart AI

How we run UK work

  • UK or EU data residency, documented, with a processing record you can show
  • Built on Xero, Sage, GoCardless and the rest of the actual UK stack
  • Fixed-scope proposals priced and invoiced in GBP
  • Lawful basis and retention agreed in writing before the build starts

/ FAQ

Questions from United Kingdom businesses.

Is what you build UK GDPR compliant?
We build to UK GDPR requirements — data mapping, documented lawful basis, retention schedules, subject access support, region-pinned processing and access logging. We are not your legal advisers and will say where you need a DPO's sign-off, but the technical and documentary requirements are built in rather than retrofitted.
Where is our data processed?
In UK or EU regions where your policy or regulator requires it, using deployments that do not train on your data. This is agreed in writing at the start of the project rather than left to the platform defaults.
Do you understand PECR rules on marketing messages?
Yes, and they differ meaningfully from US rules. Consent capture, the soft opt-in condition, and a clear opt-out on every message are designed into any marketing automation we deliver.
Do you invoice in pounds?
Yes — quoted, contracted and invoiced in GBP by UK bank transfer, on fixed-scope milestones. No currency movement between proposal and invoice.
Do you work with UK-specific software?
Yes — Xero, Sage, GoCardless, and sector systems such as Reapit and Alto in property. Where a UK platform has no public API we build a bridge rather than pushing you toward an American alternative.
Are you available in UK working hours?
Yes. Calls, reviews and support windows are scheduled in UK time, and our working day overlaps yours in full rather than at the edges.
